Real Estate todays economy, I give you my opinion about today’s real estate market.
Wow! What a deal, that’s what the real estate agent wants you to think every time you see a property.
But is it?
Real estate is a tough business and selling properties as a living can be something you do not want to do.
People come into this business thinking that it is easy money, one sale, one buyer, one seller and ‘Wa la’, a big pay check.
The only problem with that, real estate todays economy is that the other thousand agents or more in your area are also looking for that buyer and that seller.
The competition in a great market with sellers wanting to sell, buyers wanting to buy and the inventory is large; maybe you can do alright and make a good living.
But want happens when competition continues to increase and the number of buyers and sellers decrease? Then selling real estate may not be such a good idea.
Today’s economy is not doing very well, people have been out of work and no one will hire them, college grads, ex-business owners, ex -executive, retirees, you name it and getting a real estate license seems to be a good way to make a little extra money.
But it is good for you, the property owner, the first time buyer or the investor?
Sure you can get anyone that needs to make a buck, work for you at a lower price, but will you get the service you really want or need.
Do you want someone out of college, out of work, or desperate that now holds a real estate license and doesn’t know what he or she is doing, handling the sale of your property or helping you buy a house?
Do they know how to determent price, how to negotiate, how to market your property correctly or know a good deal from a bad.
Real estate can cost you thousands of dollars if not done incorrectly.
Remember that if you don’t ask the
real estate agent does not have to
tell.
Bottom line hire smart, hire
experience, hire the right agent to do the job.
